Saving the Environment

Scores of people survive Manila's poverty by collecting rubbish for recycling

This picture was taken in Manila's garbage dump, which is obviously in Philippines. It shows people gathering around and picking rubbish and everything that could be sold for money. They seem to be wearing normal clothes, as the previous activity implies that they wouldn't be very rich. They don't look so happy and probably are thinking about how much money they're going to get from the rubbish they've collected. At least it's a good thing to do since they're saving not only their life, but also the environment.
